Why I Separate Research From Live Trading
Research is where I experiment with ideas, test settings, and compare different approaches.
Live trading is where I execute the rules I've already decided to follow.
Mixing the two can lead to constant changes based on whatever happened in the last few candles.
I prefer to record new ideas during the session and evaluate them later.
If a change looks promising, I test it before making it part of my live process.
Curiosity is valuable, but experimentation needs boundaries when real money is at risk.
