Why I Review My Decision Before Reviewing the Chart
When I look at a completed chart, the winning entry can seem obvious.
The losing entry can seem obviously wrong.
But I had to make the decision before knowing what happened next.
That's why I first write down what I knew at the time, what the setup showed, and why I entered.
Then I compare the decision with the outcome.
This helps reduce hindsight bias and keeps my review focused on decision quality rather than judging every trade by its ending.
