Why I Study the Market When I Am Not Trading

Not every learning session needs to end with a live trade.

I can review historical price action, study how a level behaved, compare different market conditions, or test a specific order flow pattern.

This helps me build understanding without taking unnecessary risk.

When I return to live trading, I want to have clearer questions and better-defined rules.

Study time is useful when it produces insights that can be tested—not simply when it adds more screen hours.
