The Best Time to Review a Mistake Is After the Emotion Settles
Immediately after a frustrating loss, I may want to blame the market, change the strategy, or enter another trade.
That's not always the best moment to analyze what happened.
I record the details, step away if needed, and review the trade when I can think more objectively.
Then I ask what the evidence shows and whether any process change is justified.
The goal is to learn from mistakes without letting the emotions of the moment decide what happens next.
