What I Look for After a Breakout

A breakout candle alone doesn't tell the entire story.

I want to observe whether price can remain beyond the broken level, whether participation supports the move, and whether a retest attracts buyers or sellers.

If price immediately falls back into the previous range, that is useful information too. A failed breakout can teach more than a random entry ever will.
