The Problem With Moving My Stop

Moving a stop farther away because I don't want to accept a loss changes the original risk of the trade.

It also turns a planned decision into an emotional negotiation with the market.

If my setup is invalidated, I need to respect that information. A stop should protect my account, not move every time the trade becomes uncomfortable.
