What I Want From a Trading Journal
A useful trading journal should do more than record profit and loss.
I want to capture the setup, entry reason, stop placement, exit decision, market conditions, and whether I followed my rules.
Over time, those notes can reveal patterns that memory alone misses. The purpose isn't to create paperwork. It's to turn past decisions into information I can use.
