Why I Don't Ignore Trading Costs
A strategy can look profitable before costs and much less attractive after them.
Commissions, exchange fees, and slippage all affect the final result. Frequent trading makes these expenses especially important to measure.
When reviewing performance, I focus on net results rather than celebrating gross profit. The money left after the costs is what actually matters.
