Why I Measure Execution Quality

Two traders can use the same setup and get different results because their execution differs.

Entry timing, order placement, slippage, and exit discipline can all affect performance.

I want to record whether I followed my rules and whether the fill matched my expectations. Improving execution is a practical way to investigate performance without assuming that I need another indicator or strategy.
