Is Consistency More Important Than a High Win Rate?
A high win rate can look impressive, but it does not automatically mean a trader is profitable. Average wins, average losses, trading costs, and adherence to the plan all influence long-term results.
A trader with a moderate win rate and controlled losses may perform better than someone who wins frequently but occasionally takes a very large loss.
Question: Which metric do you prioritize when measuring consistency: win rate, profit factor, drawdown, or rule adherence?
