Is Midday Trading Worth It in Futures?

Sushant A

Market activity can slow down during certain hours, potentially leading to choppy price action and failed breakouts.

But opportunities can still appear when conditions are right.

Do you trade throughout the session or avoid specific hours?

Mostly no. Midday is usually choppy and low-volume, so signals fail more often. It only suits range-bound or mean-reversion setups. Most traders do better in the first and last hour.
