Liquidity Sweep: Breakout or Trap?
Price moves above a previous high, triggers breakout orders, and then quickly returns below that level.
This behaviour is often described as a buy-side liquidity sweep.
The opposite can happen below previous lows, creating a sell-side liquidity sweep.
The important question is what happens AFTER the sweep.
Look for displacement, structure shifts, and confirmation instead of entering immediately.
Have you ever entered a breakout only to see price reverse immediately?
