Inducement – The Trap Before the Real Move?
Inducement is an interesting concept in ICT and SMC.
It refers to a price level or apparent opportunity that may attract traders into positions before price moves towards a more significant liquidity objective.
For example, a minor higher low may attract buyers, while price later breaks below it before reaching a larger downside objective.
The challenge is distinguishing meaningful inducement from ordinary market noise.
