Quick answer: Breakout Prop pays funded traders on demand, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can request a payout any time you have no open positions and no breach, the minimum is $50 after the profit split (80% standard, 90% with the upgrade), and the money is sent in USDC on the Ethereum (ERC-20) network after an approval that Breakout says can take 12 to 24 hours and is usually quicker. Breakout says more than $50 million has been paid out since launch.
Breakout Prop discount code: BRIDGE, 5% off every account, tested at checkout 18 October 2026. A $100K 1-Step Pro drops from $545 to $517.75, which also means you need less profit to earn your fee back. Every price is on our Breakout Prop coupon code page.

"Does Breakout actually pay?" is the question I get most about this firm. Search it and you will find answers that disagree: daily payouts, weekly payouts, every two weeks, 80%, 90%. Most of that comes from old pages or other programmes. So I went to the source. Every rule below comes from Breakout's own help centre, with dollar examples, so you know exactly how getting paid works before you buy an evaluation.
How Breakout Prop Payouts Work in 2026
Breakout has two stages: the evaluation (a demo account where you hit a target inside the loss limits) and the funded account. Payouts only exist in the funded stage. Breakout's help centre is clear that you cannot receive a payout during the evaluation.
When can you request a Breakout payout?
Any time, on weekdays or weekends. There is no payout cycle and no waiting period after you get funded. The only two conditions are that you have no open positions when you ask, and that your account has not breached. The amount is taken off your account balance straight away, and you can keep trading the same account while the payout is processed.
What is the minimum Breakout payout?
$50, after Breakout's split is applied. With the standard 80% split, that means you need at least $62.50 of profit on the account to request the smallest payout ($62.50 × 80% = $50). With the 90% upgrade, about $55.56 of profit is enough. Breakout says there is no profit cap.
How long does a Breakout payout take?
Breakout says payouts go through an approval process that can take 12 to 24 hours, "but is usually much quicker". Once Payward Oceanic, Ltd (POL), the company that provides the funded accounts, approves the request, your dashboard asks for your wallet address and the USDC is sent to it.
My experience: the "flat account" rule is the one people forget. You cannot ask for a payout with a trade still open, so I close everything first, request the payout, then go back to trading. It takes a minute and saves a confused support ticket.
How You Get Paid: USDC on Ethereum
Breakout is a crypto prop firm, and it pays like one. There is no bank transfer and no card refund route for profits.
What payout methods does Breakout offer?
One: USDC on the ERC-20 (Ethereum) network. Breakout's help centre says it is currently the only payout method. If you do not use crypto yet, set up a wallet that supports USDC on Ethereum before your first payout, not on the day you need it.
What should you check about your wallet?
The address must be an Ethereum (ERC-20) address that can receive USDC. Sending to the wrong network is the classic crypto mistake. Breakout also lists the risks of on-chain payments in its own words: smart contract bugs, network congestion, wrong or too-low gas fees, transaction ordering problems, sanctions and malicious activity such as front-running. It also says no adjustment is made if the USDC price moves between your request and its arrival.
Are Breakout payouts insured, and do you pay tax on them?
Breakout says payouts are not insured or guaranteed by any institution, including the FDIC or SIPC. And yes, tax is your responsibility: Breakout says you are solely responsible for any taxes and reporting under your local laws for the USDC you receive. It does not give tax advice, so ask a local tax professional.
My experience: I keep a dedicated wallet only for prop payouts. It makes the tax record simple, and I never have to wonder which network an address is on.
Breakout Profit Split: 80% or 90%
Breakout's standard split is 80% to you and 20% to the firm. You can buy a 90% split as an upgrade at checkout when you buy the evaluation, and it stays with that account.
How much do you take home from a Breakout payout?
| Profit on the funded account | You receive at 80% | You receive at 90% |
|---|---|---|
| $62.50 | $50 (the minimum) | $56.25 |
| $1,000 | $800 | $900 |
| $5,000 | $4,000 | $4,500 |
| $10,000 | $8,000 | $9,000 |
Is the 90% split upgrade worth it?
Only if you expect real payouts. The upgrade costs more up front, and the extra 10% only pays back once your profits are large enough. On our own checkout test, the $200,000 Pro with the 90% upgrade came to $1,242.59 after the Breakout Prop coupon code BRIDGE; the full working is in our $200K Pro 90/10 guide. If you are still testing a strategy, the 80% split keeps your fee lower.
Do Breakout's trading fees reduce your payout?
Yes, indirectly. In the funded account Breakout counts a 0.04% fee on every buy or sell order and a 0.033% daily swap fee per position held at 00:00 UTC (taken at 00:25 UTC). They are not charged to your card or wallet, but they lower the account balance that your split and payout are worked out from. You can see them under My Account → Cash Movements in the dashboard.
My experience: on a high-frequency day the 0.04% adds up faster than people expect. I check Cash Movements once a week so my "profit" number matches what I can actually withdraw.
From Passing to Your First Breakout Payout
Breakout upgrades your account the moment you hit the target, even in the middle of a trade, according to its own site. But a passed evaluation is not yet a funded account.
Do you become a funded trader automatically?
No. Breakout's help centre says passing makes you eligible to apply. You then need to (1) pass a KYC check and (2) sign a separate Funded Trader Agreement with Payward Oceanic, Ltd (POL). Breakout gives a 12 to 24 hour timeline for this approval, and you get an email when trading is enabled on the funded account.
What do you need for Breakout KYC?
KYC is not needed to buy or trade an evaluation, only for the funded account and payouts. It is handled by SumSub, and you need a government photo ID (passport, national ID card, residence permit, military ID or driving licence), a selfie that matches it, and proof of residence where needed. Do the check with any VPN switched off: Breakout says a VPN during KYC will make it fail. You must be 18 or older.
Which countries can't get Breakout payouts?
Breakout and POL list the same countries: Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. Check this before you buy: if your KYC is rejected after review, Breakout says active evaluations are refunded, but passing an evaluation you cannot get funded on wastes your time.
My experience: do the KYC as soon as you pass, the same day. The 12 to 24 hour window starts only when your documents are in, and a clear photo of your ID saves a second round.
Funded Account Rules That Protect Your Payout
A payout is only possible on an account that has not breached. These are the limits that matter, from Breakout's help centre.
How does Breakout's 3% daily loss work on a funded account?
On 1-Step Classic, Pro and Turbo funded accounts, the daily loss limit is 3%, recalculated every day at 00:30 UTC from your balance at that time (open positions are not included). Breakout's example: a $100,000 funded account with a $105,000 balance at 00:30 UTC has a daily loss floor of $101,850 for the next 24 hours.
What is the maximum drawdown on each Breakout funded account?
It is static: set once from your starting balance, it does not move up when you make money.
- Classic: 6%. On $100,000 the floor is $94,000.
- Pro: 5%. On $100,000 the floor is $95,000.
- Turbo: 3%. On $100,000 the floor is $97,000.
Because the floor does not trail, every dollar of profit you make is extra room above it, which is good news for traders who withdraw often.
Does a payout change your daily loss limit?
Yes, in your favour. Breakout adds the payout amount as a buffer to that day's daily loss limit. Breakout's example: a $100,000 1-Step funded account with a prior-day balance of $105,000 has a daily loss limit of $101,850. If you request the full $5,000 payout, the balance drops to $100,000 and the limit widens by $5,000, to $96,850. It resets as normal at the next 00:30 UTC.
My experience: the static drawdown is why I like withdrawing at Breakout. Taking money out does not pull your floor up behind you, and the payout buffer means you are not breached the same day just because your balance dropped.
What Can Cost You a Breakout Payout
Most lost payouts are not about a bad trade. They are about a rule that was not read.
What counts as a breach on a Breakout funded account?
Reaching or going past the maximum drawdown or the daily loss limit, prohibited trading as defined in the Funded Trader Agreement, or breaking any other term of that agreement. Breakout's help centre is direct: a breached funded account cannot receive payouts.
Which trading practices are prohibited?
Breakout lists, among others: exploiting pricing or latency errors, trading on non-public information, front-running, using an off-the-shelf strategy sold to pass or profit from funded accounts, passing with one approach and trading another once funded, strategies likely to be auto-deleveraged or that cause outsized swings in unrealised P&L, and copying trade ideas from other traders, analysts, social media or signals. Violations are judged at Breakout's discretion and can end the account.
Can you hedge or copy trade at Breakout?
Hedging inside one account is allowed (Hedge Mode is on by default). Hedging across accounts, coordinating opposite trades with another trader, and copying trades between traders are not. Breakout says a confirmed violation means termination of all linked accounts, loss of accrued profits and a permanent ban; a first-time accidental case may get a warning at its discretion. Breakout also lists trading several accounts from the same household, device or IP address as prohibited in the evaluation.
My experience: the rule that surprises crypto traders most is "no copying signals". If you are in a paid signals group, trade your own ideas on your Breakout account. It is the cleanest way to keep your payouts safe.
How Much Profit You Need to Earn Back Your Fee (With BRIDGE)
Here is a number most guides skip: the profit you need on the funded account before the payouts cover what you paid for the evaluation. The lower your fee, the sooner you are in profit, which is where the Breakout Prop discount code BRIDGE helps.
What is the break-even payout on a $100K Breakout account?
| $100K account (80% split) | Fee | Fee with BRIDGE | Profit needed to earn back the fee with BRIDGE | As % of the account |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Classic | $800 | $760.00 | $950.00 | 0.95% |
| 1-Step Pro | $545 | $517.75 | $647.19 | 0.65% |
| 1-Step Turbo | $330 | $313.50 | $391.88 | 0.39% |
The formula is simple: fee ÷ 80%. Without the code you would need $1,000 (Classic), $681.25 (Pro) and $412.50 (Turbo). On every plan, the first funded month that makes just under 1% pays the fee back.
How much does the Breakout promo code BRIDGE save on each plan?
5% of the fee, on every size. At $100K that is $40 on Classic, $27.25 on Pro and $16.50 on Turbo. On the largest accounts it is $54.50 (the $200K Pro, $1,090 → $1,035.50) and $33 (the $200K Turbo, $660 → $627). Every size is in our Breakout Prop coupon code guide.
Can you use a Breakout payout to buy your next evaluation?
Yes. Breakout lets you apply all or part of the balance in your dashboard's Payout tab to a new evaluation, on its own or together with a card, PayPal or crypto payment, according to its help centre. Enter BRIDGE in the same checkout and the 5% comes off as usual.
My experience: I treat the first payout as "fee back" and only count what comes after it as profit. With BRIDGE, that line is a little closer, and on a Turbo it is under 0.4% of the account.
Limits, Real Money and the Bigger Picture
A few more facts that decide how far Breakout payouts can grow.
How much funded capital can you hold at Breakout?
Up to $200,000 in total across all your funded accounts. You can trade several funded accounts at the same time, as long as their combined balance stays within that cap. You can also buy several evaluations, but hedging between them is not allowed.
Are Breakout funded accounts real money?
No, and Breakout says so openly: funded accounts trade simulated capital. Prices, spreads, order-book depth and fills are built to mirror live markets using real liquidity data, so slippage behaves like a real venue. What you receive is real USDC. This is how most prop firms work; Breakout is just clearer about it than many.
Can you trust Breakout to pay?
Kraken announced it had acquired Breakout on 4 September 2025 (Kraken's announcement). Breakout says it has operated since November 2023 and paid more than $50 million since launch. Breakout Prop holds a 91/100 PFB Score and the Trusted verdict in our Breakout Prop review; read what funded traders say on the Breakout trader reviews tab and on Trustpilot. Breakout pays in USDC on Ethereum from its own side, so it is not on our live prop firm payout tracker, which reads the payout rail many other firms use. Any change to Breakout's payout rules appears on our rule changes tracker the day it happens.
My experience: on-demand payouts with a static floor is one of the most trader-friendly set-ups in crypto prop trading. Read the prohibited practices once, keep your wallet on the right network, and get your fee back faster with the code BRIDGE. Compare the plans on the Breakout challenges tab, or see how Breakout stacks up against HyroTrader, then buy at Breakout Prop with BRIDGE in the code box.
