To compare prop firms side by side, open the Prop Firm Bridge compare tool, add up to three firms, pick one account size and read the Cost, Challenge, Risk rules, Payouts and Trust blocks in that order. On 29 October 2026 the $100K comparison of The5ers, Funding Pips and FundedNext shows three fees of $364.50, $423.20 and $530.09 and daily loss limits from 2% to 5%. The tool shows the fees and the limits, with the dollar amounts, in one table.
What is the prop firm compare tool?
The compare prop firms page puts up to three firms in one table at one account size. Every number comes from the firm's own website, which we check daily, and the page is rebuilt with the latest values. You do not need an account to use it.
The page has these parts, top to bottom:
- Add firms: a picker where you choose the firms (it starts with three) and a Clear button to start again.
- Account size: buttons for $5K, $10K, $20K, $25K, $50K, $100K and $200K. The whole table switches to that size.
- Only differences: a switch that hides every row where the firms agree, so you see only what is different.
- Programme: for each firm, the plan the table is using (for example a 1-step or 2-step), with the other plans listed under it.
- Cost, Challenge, Risk rules, Payouts, What you can trade, Trust: the six blocks of the table.
- A share image: a picture of the comparison with the account size, ready to post or send to a friend.
My experience: I start every comparison with the account size I would really buy, not the biggest one. A comparison at a size you will never buy hides the fee that matters.
How do you compare prop firms side by side, step by step?
- Open the compare page. Three firms are already in the table. Use the picker to swap in the firms you are choosing between.
- Pick one account size. Tap $25K, $50K, $100K or another size. Compare firms at the same size only; a $50K from one firm against a $100K from another tells you nothing.
- Read Cost first. The Cost block shows the account size, the price with the site's tested code BRIDGE, what you save, any fee after passing, and the total to get funded.
- Read the Challenge block. Steps, profit target, minimum trading days and time limit.
- Read Risk rules. Daily loss limit and max loss in percent and in dollars, the drawdown type and whether a consistency rule applies.
- Read Payouts and What you can trade. Profit split, payout cycle, payout methods, news, EAs, copy trading, overnight and weekend holding.
- Switch on "Only differences". Now only the rows where the firms disagree stay on screen. That is the short list you decide from.
Open the firm's own page last, with the Visit firm and Review links under each firm's name, to read the exact wording of any rule that decides your choice.
Worked example: three firms at $100K on 29 October 2026
This is the live table for The5ers, Funding Pips and FundedNext at $100K, as the compare page showed it on 29 October 2026. The programme the table uses for each firm is in the first row.
| Row | The5ers | Funding Pips | FundedNext |
|---|---|---|---|
| Programme in the table | High Stakes (New), 2-step | 1 Step Flex, 2% daily loss | Stellar 1-Step |
| List price at $100K | $405 | $529 | $569.99 |
| Price with the site's tested code | $364.50 (10% off) | $423.20 (20% off) | $530.09 (7% off) |
| Fee after passing | None | None | None |
| Profit target | 10% | 12% | 10% |
| Minimum trading days | 3 days | 0 days | 2 days |
| Daily loss limit | 5% ($5,000) in the table; The5ers' own notes list 4% on $50K and $100K, so check before you buy | 2% ($2,000) | 3% ($3,000) |
| Consistency rule | None | Applies | None |
| Profit split | 80% to 100% | 80% / 100% | 80% up to 95% |
| Payout cycle | Every 14 days | 14 or 30 days | Every 5 business days |
| Max funding | $500K | $2M | $4M |
| PFB score | 92 / 100 | 90 / 100 | 89 / 100 |
| Founded | 2016 | 2022 | 2022 |
The tool's own "More from the firms" section adds detail the firm states in its own words, for example that The5ers' High Stakes lists a lower max loss (8%) and daily loss (4%) on the $50K and $100K sizes than the 10% and 5% shown in the main table. That is why the page tells you to check the firm's own rules. For a rule that decides your choice, read the firm's own page: open the The5ers review, the Funding Pips review and the FundedNext review.
What this table says in plain words: the cheapest fee is The5ers at $364.50, but it asks for 3 minimum trading days. Funding Pips has the tightest daily loss limit (2%, $2,000) and a consistency rule, which is exactly the kind of difference that changes how you trade. FundedNext has the shortest payout cycle (every 5 business days). No single row decides; the tool exists so you can see all rows at once.
My experience: I put the daily loss limit next to the fee every time. A cheaper fee is not a saving if the limit is half the size you are used to risking.
Which rows matter most when you compare prop firms?
If you only have two minutes, compare in this order:
- Total to get funded. The fee plus any fee after passing. At $100K all three firms above show none after passing, so the fee is the total.
- Daily loss limit and max loss in dollars. A percentage is easy to misread under pressure; the dollar figure next to it is what your trade size must fit inside.
- Drawdown type. Static and trailing rules behave very differently. The tool names the type for each firm.
- Consistency rule. "None" or "Applies". If it applies, read the firm's wording before you buy.
- Minimum trading days. 0 days and 3 days are different plans for a part-time trader.
- Payout cycle and methods. How often you can ask for money and how it reaches you.
- What you can trade. News, EAs, copy trading, overnight and weekend holding.
How do you compare prop firm costs and find the cheapest one?
Use the Cost block. Pick one size, then read three numbers per firm: the list price, the price after the site's tested code BRIDGE, and the total to get funded. The cheapest at one size is not always the cheapest at another, so switch the size buttons and look again. If you need the full price list for one firm, the coupon code pages show every account and every size with the price after the code.
How do you compare drawdown and daily loss rules?
Look at the Risk rules block. It shows the daily loss limit and the max loss as a percentage and in dollars, and then the drawdown type. Then turn "Only differences" on: if the daily loss limits are the same you will not see that row at all, which already tells you the firms are alike on it.
Use the dollars to size your trades. For example, a 2% daily limit on $100K is $2,000. If you risk 0.5% per trade, that is 4 losing trades in a row before the limit; at 1% it is 2. The free position size calculator turns a dollar limit into lots.
How do you compare prop firm payouts?
The Payouts block shows profit split, payout cycle and payout methods. A split of "80% to 100%" means it rises with conditions the firm sets, so open the firm's page for the exact steps. For payouts that firms have really sent, the live prop firm payouts tracker reads them from the blockchain and shows each transaction.
Can you compare prop firms for scalpers, news traders and EA users?
Yes. The "What you can trade" block lists EAs, copy trading, news trading, overnight holding and weekend holding as Allowed or Not allowed for each firm. In the example above, EAs and copy trading are shown as allowed for all three. For news and holding rules, the table names the plan it is using, so always check you are comparing the plan you will buy: open the Programme list under each firm and read the rules of the plan you pick.
Where are the head-to-head pages, like "The5ers vs Funding Pips"?
Besides the picker, the site has 272 ready-made head-to-head pages, for example The5ers vs Funding Pips, FundedNext vs The5ers and FundedNext vs Funding Pips. Use the picker when you want three firms or a different account size; use a head-to-head page when you have two names in your head.
How current is the data, and where does it come from?
Facts come from each firm's own website. A nightly check reads the firms' rules and pricing pages and updates the record when the firm changes something, and every change is listed on the prop firm rule changes tracker. If a firm changes a rule, the compare table changes with it. The tool does not give financial advice, and a comparison is never a recommendation: it is a way to see the same facts in the same place.
Mistakes to avoid when you compare prop firms
- Comparing different account sizes. Always compare at one size.
- Comparing only the fee. A cheap fee with a tight daily limit can cost more in failed attempts.
- Comparing a firm's best plan with another firm's worst plan. Check the Programme row and choose the plans you would really buy.
- Skipping the dollar figures. Percentages hide how small a limit really is.
- Deciding from the table alone. Open the firm's own page for the rule that decides your choice.
When you have your shortlist, read the verified trader reviews for each firm, then buy the plan you can afford to fail once.
