FundingTraders prop firm review: FundingTraders is a CFD prop firm (FT US Inc, Miami Beach, and Funding Traders Group Ltd., Saint Lucia) offering forex, indices, metals, oil and crypto on MT5 and TradeLocker. It sells four routes: 1-Step Pro, 2-Step Pro6, 2-Step Pro10 and Instant Funded, in sizes from $5K to $200K (Instant up to $400K). Risk rules change a lot between them: the 2-Step accounts use a fixed maximum loss, while 1-Step Pro and Instant use a maximum loss that trails the highest balance.
Bridge Verdict Preview
FundingTraders has a balanced profile. Its 2-Step Pro6 and Pro10 rules are clear and static, and its payout terms are among the most clearly written we have read, including a published $1,000 payout guarantee. Its short public track record, its small number of public trader reviews and several official pages that disagree with each other keep it in the high 70s rather than the 80s.
TL;DR
- Best for: Swing and day traders who want a static 2-Step account with no consistency score.
- Biggest strength: Clear written payout terms: 21-day cycle (14-day add-on) or on demand on Instant, 24β48 hour processing stated, $1,000 guarantee if late.
- Biggest risk: Trailing maximum loss and a 2% risk cap per trade idea on 1-Step Pro; very tight Instant rules (1% floating risk, 15% consistency).
- Watch: Read the help-centre article for your exact account; some summary pages differ from it.

Ratings Breakdown
Scored by the Prop Firm Bridge team. What traders scored is on the Reviews tab.
Our Take
FundingTraders received a 78 out of 100 score. Its rules are well documented account by account, its 2-Step accounts use a fixed maximum loss with no consistency score, and its payout terms are clear and backed by a published guarantee. The score stays below 80 because the current company has a short public track record, there are few public trader reviews to confirm payouts over time, and some official pages contradict the detailed help-centre articles.
How the score was built
- Trading Conditions 4.0 / 5: static 6% or 10% maximum loss on 2-Step, 1:50 FX leverage, news trading free in the challenge; held back by the trailing maximum loss on 1-Step Pro, the 2% risk cap per trade idea and the tight Instant rules.
- Payout Process 4.1 / 5: two methods, 24β48 hour processing stated, $1,000 late-payout guarantee, fee refund; held back by the 21-day default cycle and a short public payout history.
- Customer Care 3.7 / 5: 24/7 live chat, WhatsApp and email and a detailed help centre; held back by pages that disagree with each other on weekend holding, news timing, refund timing and restricted countries.
- User Friendliness 3.8 / 5: MT5 and TradeLocker, a simple checkout and a rule-tracking dashboard; held back by many add-ons and rule differences between subtypes.
Pros
- Static maximum loss and no consistency score on 2-Step Pro6 and Pro10
- Published $1,000 payout guarantee if an eligible payout is not processed within 2 business days
- On-demand payouts on Instant accounts
- Evaluation fee refunded with the qualifying payout; 200% refund bonus on Instant
- Scaling plan up to $2,000,000
Cons
- Trailing 10% maximum loss and 3% daily loss on 1-Step Pro
- Instant: 1% floating risk cap, 15% consistency, 3% non-withdrawable cushion, 20-lot cap
- Trading EAs only if self-built
- $3/lot funded commission ($6 on Instant) without the Zero Fees add-on
- Some official pages disagree; always read the article for your account
In-Depth Review & Analysis
FundingTraders sells four routes to a funded account, and the right one depends mostly on how the maximum loss is measured. All facts below come from FundingTraders' own website, checkout and help centre, read on 28 Oct 2026.
2-Step Pro6 and 2-Step Pro10
Both are two-phase evaluations with a fixed maximum loss that does not trail when you are in profit. Pro6 asks 6% in Phase 1 and 6% in Phase 2, with a 3% daily loss and a 6% maximum loss. Pro10 asks 10% then 5%, with a 5% daily loss and a 10% maximum loss. The daily loss is measured from the starting day's balance. Each phase needs at least 4 trading days, and the funded stage needs 2 before a payout. The default split is 80%, with add-ons for 90% or 100%. There is no consistency score on either subtype. On the funded account, a single trade idea (same symbol and direction open together, or reopened within 2 minutes) may not lose more than 2% of the initial balance.
MT5 list prices: Pro6 $49 ($5K), $79 ($10K), $159 ($25K), $259 ($50K), $459 ($100K), $799 ($200K). Pro10 $90, $150, $290, $430, $750 and $1,250. TradeLocker costs about 10% more.
1-Step Pro
One phase with a 10% target, a 3% daily loss and a 10% maximum loss that trails the highest recorded balance. The 2% risk cap per trade idea applies in the challenge as well as the funded stage, and the funded stage has a 50% consistency score: your best day may be at most half of total profit when you request a payout. Minimum 2 trading days in the challenge and 2 funded. Split 90% (100% with an add-on). MT5 prices: $59, $109, $229, $329, $589 and $999 for $5K to $200K.
Instant Funded
No evaluation, but the tightest rules: a 3% daily loss measured from the higher of the day's starting balance or equity, a 6% maximum loss that trails the highest balance until you are 3% up and then locks at the starting balance, and a 1% cap on floating loss across all open trades. The first 3% of profit is a non-withdrawable safety cushion, a payout needs at least 3.5% profit, and the consistency score is 15%. In return, payouts are on demand, the split is 90% (100% with add-on) and the second payout includes a 200% refund of the fee. Lots are capped at 20 per trade and commission is $6 per lot round turn (not on indices). MT5 prices: $99 ($5K), $179, $319, $479, $749 ($100K), $1,349 ($200K) and $2,349 ($400K).
News, holding and copying
On 1-Step and 2-Step accounts news trading is free in the challenge. On funded accounts no more than 30% of profit may come from trades opened, held or closed within 5 minutes either side of high-impact news; trades opened 5 or more hours before the release are not counted. Instant accounts may not open or close trades in that 10-minute window; a News Holding add-on lets positions stay open through it. Pro accounts may hold overnight and over the weekend. Copying your own trades between your own Pro accounts is allowed; copying other traders or sharing signals is not, and copy software between Instant accounts is not allowed.
Expert advisors and banned practices
EAs are allowed for risk management (position-size tools) or when the trader built the EA personally and can explain it. Off-the-shelf trading EAs, grid strategies, hedge EAs and high-frequency trading (trades of 15 seconds or less, repeated) are banned, and the volume-weighted average holding time must be at least 2 minutes. At least one trade must be placed every 30 days or the account fails.
Payouts
Evaluation accounts pay every 21 days from the first funded trade, or every 14 days with an add-on. Payouts go by Rise bank transfer (minimum $200) or USDT-ERC20 crypto (minimum $50), each stated as 24β48 hours processing excluding weekends. FundingTraders publishes a payout guarantee: if an eligible payout is not processed within 2 business days, the trader gets $1,000 ($500 cash and $500 credit), with exclusions for KYC, risk reviews and processor downtime. Pro accounts reset to the starting balance while a payout is processed so you can keep trading. The fee is refunded with the second payout for accounts bought on or after 8 May 2026.
Scaling and limits
The scaling plan adds 25% of the starting balance after two back-to-back profitable months with at least 8% total profit, up to $2,000,000, with an extra 25% after 3 months. Funded balances are capped at $300,000 across Pro accounts and $400,000 across Instant accounts.
Leverage
FX majors 1:50; EURGBP, GBPJPY and other minors 1:30; US30 and JPN225 1:40; NAS100 and DAX 1:30; US500 1:25; UK100 1:20; other indices 1:15; gold and silver 1:20; oil 1:10; BTC 1:10; ETH, SOL and XRP 1:5; other crypto 1:1.
Where the pages disagree
Some summary pages differ from the detailed help-centre articles: weekend holding on Instant accounts, the news window, refund timing and the restricted-country list. We follow the detailed article for each account type and recommend traders do the same before buying.
Using code BRIDGE
BRIDGE gives FundingTraders' best public deal, 50% off + a second account of the same size free today. Choose one size at checkout and you receive two accounts of that size, platform and add-ons. Final Verdict
Is FundingTraders PFB Verified or Risky for Prop Traders?
Verdict: PFB Verified
FundingTraders scores 78 / 100, inside the 67β100 PFB Verified band. Its 2-Step Pro6 and Pro10 accounts offer a fixed maximum loss with no consistency score, and its payout terms are clearly written and backed by a published guarantee. Traders should still be careful with the trailing maximum loss on 1-Step Pro and the tight Instant rules, and should read the help-centre article for their exact account, because some summary pages disagree with it. A longer public payout record would lift the score. BRIDGE gives FundingTraders' best public deal, 50% off + a second account of the same size free today.
