Crypto Fund Trader Perps Review

Introduction

Crypto Fund Trader Perps, checked on 21 Oct 2026: this page covers only Crypto Fund Trader's (CFT) perpetual futures route, which runs through Bybit. For the company, its background, its MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader accounts and the full crypto review, see the Full Crypto Fund Trader crypto review β†’.

When you pick Bybit at checkout, you take the evaluation on your own personal Bybit account, connected to CFT's dashboard with an API key. On that route only USDT crypto futures are allowed (Bybit's USDT perpetual contracts); spot and options are prohibited. Positions pay Bybit's own funding rates, with no markup from CFT, and Bybit's fee schedule applies. The MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader accounts are a different product (crypto CFDs with a swap) and are not covered here.

Prop Firm Bridge rates Crypto Fund Trader 67 / 100, PFB Verified, the same score as its main review, with the same cautions.

Our Take

Our take on CFT's perps route

CFT's Bybit route is the most "real exchange" way to take a crypto evaluation: your own Bybit account, Bybit's own funding and fees, hundreds of USDT pairs. It suits traders who already live on Bybit. The score stays at the edge of PFB Verified because of the same regulatory, review-integrity and rule-complexity cautions as the main review.

Pros

  • Trade on your own Bybit account by API key, no KYC for the evaluation.
  • Bybit's own funding rates with no markup.
  • Hundreds of USDT futures pairs, leverage up to 100x.
  • Five evaluation types available on Bybit.

Cons

  • Changing the API key or subaccount voids the evaluation.
  • Trailing drawdown on 1-Phase and Break.
  • First reward only after 15 trading days or 30 calendar days on standard accounts.
  • Same FINMA and review-integrity cautions as the main CFT review.

In-Depth Review & Analysis

What you trade: Bybit USDT futures

CFT's FAQ says that on Bybit only USDT crypto futures contracts are allowed during the evaluation, and that trading any other instruments, such as spot or options, is prohibited. Funding rates exist only on perpetual contracts, and CFT's FAQ states that funding rates on this route are set by Bybit, so in practice you are trading Bybit's USDT perpetuals. CFT counts more than 550 crypto futures pairs on Bybit in its FAQ; its Bybit page says more than 715.

How the Bybit route works

  • Create or log in to your own Bybit account and generate an API key that connects to the CFT dashboard.
  • The API key and subaccount must stay active and unchanged for the whole evaluation. Changing them invalidates the account automatically. If a key expires, the account is paused as "pending" until a new key is approved.
  • No KYC is needed to take the evaluation with demo capital.
  • CFT adds no country restrictions on the Bybit route, but you must follow Bybit's own terms and country rules.

Leverage

Leverage on all evaluation types is up to 100x, depending on the instrument, as set by the Bybit platform. High leverage is available, but the account's 4% to 5% daily loss limits make anything near it very risky.

Funding rates and fees

This is where the Bybit route differs most from CFT's other platforms. On Bybit, funding rates are determined by Bybit and vary over time, with no markup from CFT. Trading fees follow Bybit's own fee structure, which depends on the pair, maker or taker, and your volume tier. On MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader, CFT instead charges a fixed commission and an overnight swap. If you hold perps through funding times, check Bybit's live funding rate before you enter: a high positive rate is a real daily cost on a long.

Liquidation and loss limits

Bybit's own margin and liquidation rules apply to your positions, but CFT's limits come first. Breaches are measured on equity, and the daily limit resets at 12:05 AM UTC. On the 1-Phase evaluation the maximum loss is a trailing 6% that moves up with new highs until it reaches the starting balance; on Break it trails the highest balance reached.

The evaluations you can take on Bybit

  • 1-Phase (Accelerated): 10% target, 4% daily loss, 6% trailing maximum loss.
  • 2-Phase (Evaluation): 8% then 5% target, 5% daily loss, 10% fixed maximum loss.
  • Ascend: 8% then 5% target, 5% daily loss, 10% maximum loss; no new trades or added risk from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news.
  • Instant ($2,500 to $10,000): 4% daily loss, 6% maximum loss, 10% target for double-ups.
  • Break ($25K to $100K): $1,250 / $3,000 / $6,000 target, $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 trailing drawdown, 1 minimum day, on-demand payouts with a 40% consistency rule in the live stage.

The checkout shows Bybit as a platform option for each of these, next to MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader. There is no time limit.

Payouts

On the standard evaluations, the first reward can be requested after 15 trading days or every 30 calendar days (every 7 traded days with the weekly add-on). Break accounts pay on demand. KYC must be approved and all trades closed before you request. CFT gives about 8 hours as its average and up to 48 business hours for review and payment, by bank transfer in EUR or USD, or in USDT (ERC20 / TRC20), BTC or ETH. The split starts at 80% and the scaling plan goes up to 90% and $1,280,000.

Prohibited strategies

Tick scalping (manual or automated), arbitrage and news-scalping bots, multi-account reverse trading and high-frequency trading with bots are not allowed.

Final Verdict

Crypto Fund Trader Perps: 67 / 100, PFB Verified. If you want to trade Bybit's USDT perps inside an evaluation, on your own Bybit account and with Bybit's real funding and fees, CFT is one of the few firms that does it. Keep your API key untouched, respect the equity-based daily limit and read the trailing drawdown rules before you choose 1-Phase or Break.
